The Story Behind NoReply

It started with an optician who took £500 from me, a letting agent withholding my deposit for no reason, and an airline that refused to pay up after a severely delayed flight. I eventually got my money back from all of them – but the amount of energy it took was exhausting.

I built a simple notes app to track the details – company names, what went wrong, which laws they'd broken. It helped me stay organised and build my case. Then a family member asked me to help them fight a car rental company. Then a friend needed help with their phone network. I kept adding features they needed.

That notes app gradually became NoReply. I didn't set out to build a product – I just got tired of watching people get ripped off and give up because fighting back felt impossible.
