How often is the flight disruption board updated?
The board refreshes every 4 hours from live flight status sources. You’ll see a 'refreshed N min ago' indicator above the search bar - if data goes stale (more than 6 hours old) we’ll flag it on the page so you know the feed is catching up.
Am I owed compensation for a cancelled flight?
Probably, if your flight was UK or EU departing, or operated by a UK/EU airline arriving from outside. Under UK261 you can claim up to £520 per passenger; under EU261 up to €600. The board automatically checks each flight against these rules and shows an eligibility badge.
What about delayed flights - do I still get paid?
If a UK or EU flight arrives 3 hours or more late, you’re entitled to the same compensation as for a cancellation. Shorter delays usually don’t qualify unless the airline cancels the flight or you’re denied boarding.
What if my flight isn’t on the board?

No. It checks UK261 and EU261 only, because those are the rules we research and keep current. A flight outside both is listed as a disruption with no compensation figure, so you are never handed an amount we cannot stand behind. For anywhere else, check the local regulator.
