ImprovementAreas: Complaints
The free draft now writes a parking challenge, an apology request or a flight complaint
Start a letter without an account and, once you have said what happened, it works out what kind of complaint it is, asks for the one or two numbers that fit, and writes the letter that way.
The draft you can write without an account now works out what kind of complaint it is as you write, and the letter beside it changes to match. It stays one page: nothing to click through, and the letter keeps filling in as you type.
One or two things, not a form
Once there is a company and a couple of sentences, up to two short fields appear under your story, and only the ones that fit:
- A flight: the flight number and the date
- An order: the order number
- A parcel: the tracking number
- A parking charge or a notice: the reference on it and its deadline
- A bill or an account: the account number
- How you were treated: nothing extra, and no amount
If your story already has the number, it is filled in and marked “From your story”, so you can check it. A date from your story is offered with “Use this”.
The letter says the right thing
A parking charge is challenged and you ask for it to be cancelled, not refunded, because you never paid it. A complaint about how staff treated you asks for an apology and what they will do so it does not happen again, without quoting shopping law that has nothing to do with it. The order, tracking, flight or account number goes into the opening line, so they can find you straight away.
