See where your complaint stands at a glance
The top of every case now says, in one line, where it is and the date that matters: when they have to reply by, or when your next step opens.
Areas: Complaints
- Feature
Send your letter with Google, no code to wait for
When your letter is written, you can now continue with Google instead of waiting for a code by email. You come straight back to your letter and it goes.
Areas: Complaints
- Fix
Notes meant for you stay out of your letter
Checks on your letter now sit in their own panel above it, marked as yours alone, so they are never sent to the company. If one has to be sorted before the letter goes, the send stops and tells you which.
Areas: Letters · Sending
- Improvement
The details after your story now come one question at a time
After you say what happened, the questions arrive one per screen, with anything your story already answered ready to confirm in one tap, and a page to check every answer before we look at your case.
Areas: Complaints
- Fix
Your own messages on a case no longer count as the company replying
Answer one of our "they replied" emails and it now sits on your case as yours. Your follow-up still goes, and nothing says they wrote back.
Areas: Complaints
- Improvement
The free draft now writes a parking challenge, an apology request or a flight complaint
Start a letter without an account and, once you have said what happened, it works out what kind of complaint it is, asks for the one or two numbers that fit, and writes the letter that way.
Areas: Complaints
- Feature
A parking charge, a rude cashier and a cancelled flight now get different questions
After you describe what happened, the next step works out what kind of complaint it is and asks only what fits, picking up the order, booking or notice number you already typed.
Areas: Complaints
- Feature
Every reply from the company now comes with your next step
An offer, a refusal, a final response or a request for detail each get their own card on your case, with the one thing to do about it.
Areas: Complaints
- Improvement
The complaint form stops asking questions that do not fit
The details step asks whether it is for you or your business first, asks what is at stake instead of what you paid, and keeps payment questions out of the way until you need them.
Areas: Complaints
- Fix
Euro amounts, EU flights and contact searches now come out right
Type 88,83 and your letter asks for 88.83, a flight that never touched the UK is argued under EU261, and a contact search no longer suggests made-up addresses.
Areas: Complaints · Flights
- Feature
One tap tells us whether they sorted it
Two weeks after your complaint goes out we email to ask how it went. One tap answers it, and the answer goes on your case straight away.
Areas: Cases · Email
- Fix
We say when every address we have for a company has bounced
Write to a company whose published email addresses have all failed and the page says so, instead of telling you the company publishes none.
Areas: Sending · Companies
- Fix
Your letter will not go out with a blank in it
If a letter still has something in square brackets for you to fill in, we now stop the send and tell you which one, whether you are sending it from NoReply or marking it as sent yourself. The letter is untouched, so you fill it in and carry on.
Areas: Letters · Sending
- Fix
Form complaints stop asking you to write an email
Once you tell us a complaint went through a company's own form, your case stops opening an email composer and says plainly that there's no address to send to.
Areas: Sending · Cases
- Feature
Company pages put the complaint at the top
The button that starts your complaint now sits above the notices and the stats. On an airline page it goes straight to the flight check with the airline filled in, and on a phone or broadband page you can tap the problem you actually had.
Areas: Companies · Flights · Telecoms
- Fix
Water complaints go to the Consumer Council for Water
Complain about a water company and the route you get is the Consumer Council for Water, then the Dispute Resolution Ombudsman. It used to say the Energy Ombudsman, which does not take water complaints.
Areas: Cases · Legal
- Fix
A phone or broadband complaint now counts six weeks from the start
Draft a complaint to O2, Vodafone, Sky or any other provider and the clock on the page is six weeks, not eight, so you can escalate a fortnight sooner than it used to tell you.
Areas: Complaints · Telecoms

Your case no longer says a company opened your letter
An email on your case now shows that it arrived, and nothing more, because arriving is all we can actually see.
Areas: Cases · Privacy
- Fix
The calculator comes first, and the boards only show what is real
Every tool now starts right under its headline, the next-step card waits until you have an answer, and the flight board and energy league table only show figures their sources actually published.
Areas: Tools · Data
- Improvement
Your letter now starts with what happened
Complaint letters now open with your facts and your ask, and cite the law that fits the problem, instead of two sentences of stock phrasing.
Areas: Letters
- New
When a company will not take an email
Some companies only accept complaints through their own form. Your case now hands you the letter, links you to the form, and starts counting once you tell us it has gone.
Areas: Sending · Cases
- New
The NATS outage: what you can still claim
Your flight was cancelled by the air traffic control failure. You can now claim the hotel, the meals and a refund or a new flight, without a letter that asks for money the airline can refuse.

Write your complaint, read it, keep it, send it yourself if you like. Paying is for us sending it and staying on it afterwards.

The flight checker works out the bits you would have to look up
Pick the two airports and it works out the distance and which rules cover you, instead of asking you to know both.

Send Charlie a photo
Attaching a photo to a case chat failed silently on anything a phone camera produced. Images are shrunk automatically now, and a file that still will not go tells you why.
Areas: Charlie · Evidence
- Improvement
Your case page says what happens next, in order
How your complaint works is a numbered list now instead of one long paragraph, and every case shows who the email comes from.
Areas: Cases · Accessibility
- Improvement
Sign the letter where you are reading it
The blank where your name goes is a button now. Fill it in without hunting for a field somewhere else on the page.
Areas: Letters · Drafting
- Feature
Five seconds to change your mind
Pressing send on a case now starts a countdown instead of firing the email. Change your mind and nothing has left. You can also see exactly how your complaint arrives before it goes.
Areas: Sending · Cases
- Improvement
Your evidence is not kept forever
Files you upload are deleted on a schedule once your case is closed, rather than sitting on our servers indefinitely.
Areas: Privacy · Evidence
- Feature
We ask before telling a company something personal
If mentioning a disability, health condition or other sensitive detail would strengthen your complaint, we now ask you first instead of deciding for you.
Areas: Privacy · Letters

A straight answer on money complaints
We do not write complaints about banks, insurers, credit or pensions. Where you land on one, we now say so plainly and point you at the free route instead.
Areas: Scope · Legal
- Improvement
Upload the email itself
Saved .eml email files are read directly now, instead of asking you to convert them or paste the text in by hand.
Areas: Evidence
- Feature
A short tour when you arrive
New accounts get a three-step walkthrough of what happens to a complaint, including what things cost, before you start writing.
Areas: Onboarding
- Feature
Sign in with your face, fingerprint or PIN
Passkeys are supported, so you can get into your account without typing a password at all.
