Push notifications — stay on top of your cases without checking in
The app now sends you helpful nudges at the right moments: when your letter is ready, when a company has responded, when a deadline is approaching.
We've added push notifications to the mobile app. Here's how we built them — and why we think we've avoided the annoying bits.
What notifications you'll get
Case updates
- When your complaint letter is generated and ready to review
- When a company responds to your complaint (if you've shared it with them)
- When a key deadline in your case is approaching
Weekly tips
- One tip per week from Charlie about your rights — timed to when we think it's most useful, not just "Tuesday at 9am"
Nothing else
We're not going to ping you with promotional messages, badge counts, or "just checking in" nonsense. We find that annoying too.
Notification controls
Go to Settings in the app and you'll find per-category toggles. Turn off case updates, tips, or all notifications entirely — your choice.
Quiet hours
Notifications are automatically suppressed between 10pm and 7am. We know.
How to turn them on
When you next open the app, you'll be asked if you want to enable notifications. Tap Allow. If you declined previously, go to your phone's Settings > NoReply and enable them from there.
