Send Charlie a photo
Attaching a photo to a case chat failed silently on anything a phone camera produced. Images are shrunk automatically now, and a file that still will not go tells you why.
If you tried to send Charlie a photo of a receipt or a damaged item and it just did not work, that was us, not you.
What was wrong
Photos travelled to our server inside the message itself, and a phone photo is large enough on its own to breach the limit before the conversation is added to it. Nothing shrank them, nothing capped them, and a rejected file disappeared without a word - which reads exactly like a broken button.
What changed
Images are resized automatically before they are sent. There is a sensible size limit. And when a file genuinely cannot go through, it now says so, and says which of the three reasons it was: too big, too many at once, or the wrong sort of file.
